Rohnert Park Police Blotter
The information provided is from the Rohnert Park Public Safety Office and reflects the Arrest Log from Jan. 2 to Jan. 8. The log is comprised of arrests and some of the more interesting calls. On Jan. 8, there were no arrests but the police were still kept very busy with calls all around town.
Monday, Jan. 7, was a slow day on the arrest front as well, but the Public Safety Office had no dearth of calls to keep them busy. Police responded to an unwanted guest on San Francisco Way just before 1 a.m. There were also quite a few cases of found property and plenty of traffic stops throughout the day.
On Jan. 6 at 11:56 a.m., the police arrested a Rohnert Park man on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and controlled substance paraphernalia, along with violating probation, on the 200 block of Adobe Lane. Later in the day at 6:16 p.m., a San Francisco man was picked up on suspicion of a DUI with an alcohol level of .08 percent or greater near the Easy Market on Redwood Drive. At 8:33 p.m., a Raymond woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance near Home Depot. Then at 9:49 p.m., a Santa Rosa man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and controlled substance paraphernalia, along with violating probation, near I-Hop on Redwood Drive.
On Jan. 5 at 12:25 a.m., a local juvenile was cited for fighting, vandalism and battery on the 7500 block of Blair Ave. At 11:46 a.m., a Sebastopol man was arrested on Rohnert Park Expressway on suspicion of domestic violence battery. At 5:18 p.m., a local man decided to take a joy ride and was stopped by officers on the 1400 block of East Cotati Ave., where he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving without a license and causing property damage in a hit and run. A short time later at 5:47 p.m., a transient was arrested in the Walmart parking lot on suspicion of public intoxication and violating probation. Then at 11:50 p.m., a young man and woman from Petaluma enjoyed a free ride to the Sonoma County Jail after receiving known stolen property on the 5000 block of Redwood Drive while allegedly possessing a controlled substance for sale.
Jan. 4 was another busy day, starting at 1:07 a.m. as a Santa Rosa man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance that was for sale along with public intoxication on the 200 block of Firethorn Drive. At 1:39 a.m., a local man was arrested on College View Drive, suspected of battery domestic violence and violating probation. A Santa Rosa man was arrested at 3:33 p.m. on the 6000 block of Commerce Blvd. for resisting a peace officer, stealing a vehicle, DUI, violating probation and driving with a suspended license.
On Jan. 3, a Sonora man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 1:43 a.m. on the 600 block of Enterprise Drive. At 5:18 p.m., a Ukiah man was arrested on Alexis Drive on suspicion of battery, resisting a peace officer, trespassing and possessing a narcotic controlled substance. A local man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 8:15 p.m. on Southwest Blvd. At 9:20 p.m., a local man was arrested on the 4200 block of Santa Rosa Ave. for violating probation, suspicion of possessing a narcotic controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
On Jan. 2, a Guerneville man was arrested on the 6500 block, suspected of possessing a narcotic controlled substance along with paraphernalia without a permit at 8:11 p.m. A local man was arrested at 9:10 p.m. on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting a peace officer on the 6500 block of Commerce Blvd. Then at 10 p.m., a local woman was cited on the 5000 block of Redwood Drive for driving with a suspended license, violating probation and driving without an interlock device.
