Santa Rosa Symphony performs – Simply Fantastique!

See the Santa Rosa Symphony at the Green Music Center for the American premiere of De Tiempo y de Metal, a classical work composed entirely for brass instruments by living French composer Martin Matalon and conducted by Bruno Ferrandis. The performance includes Saint-Saëns’ challenging Concerto No. 2 played by piano soloist Jean-Philippe Collard with stunning technical prowess. Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique, which draws on the tortured dreams of a love-sick young musician, uses the concert hall’s acoustics to maximum effect.

Performances are at the Green Music Center’s Weill Concert Hall, 1801 East Cotati Ave. in Rohnert Park:
8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3
3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4
8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5
Discovery Open Rehearsal is 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3

Price: $20- $75

To purchase tickets for any Santa Rosa Symphony performance, call 546-8742 or visit santarosasymphony.com.
