Witches, cobwebs and ghosts — oh my!
Writers of all ages have a chance to publish their spookiest stories — fact, fiction or a bit of both — in a Halloween writing contest sponsored by FolkHeart Press, a boutique independent publisher of folklore-related and personal narrative books.
Send your story as a Word document to folk@folkheartpress.com by 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, for a chance to win a $25 Sweet Lollipop Shop e-card. The winner’s story will also be published on the FolkHeart Press blog Oct. 30, promoted on Twitter and Facebook, and mentioned in the FolkHeart Press November e-newsletter.
Stories should be 250-300 words. Put “Halloween Story” in the subject line of your email. Winner will be announced Oct. 27.
