Do you want your teen, age 12-15, to brush up on babysitting skills? HealthSource, an authorized training center of the American Heart Association, offers this two-day class 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 at the Rohnert Park Community Center lounge, 5401 Snyder Lane. Day 1 includes training in infant, child and adult CPR and choking safety skills. Day 2 teaches teens job interview skills, sitter safety, child development, simple first aid and appropriate discipline, diapering, feeding, burping and dressing. Bring your own lunch and snacks both days. $78 for RP residents, $85 non-residents. Sign your child up for a day of baseball with the pros at Camp For A Cure on Saturday, October 28. Your minimum donation of $50 raises money for the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation of America and the American Diabetes Association. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for ages 8-12 or 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for ages 13-15. Puppet Art Theater presents Winnie the Witch, a Halloween puppet show with black lights, for children ages five and older at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24. Kids ages five-12 can decorate a small pumpkin (no carving needed) 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. The Rohnert Park Community Services Department and the Mostly Magic Shop present the Mostly Magic Spooktacular Show from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
